Curious Agenda CIC is an inspiring, creative social enterprise that focuses on developing everyone’s natural curiosity, which is key to success in both the workplace and at home.
Since its formation in 2022, Curious Agenda has already inspired thousands through collaborations, events, workshops and more.
Founder Miia Forbes’ years of teaching people of all ages led her to realise that curiosity isn't just a personality trait - it's a superpower that transforms lives.
After years of nurturing curious mindsets, Miia witnessed firsthand how curiosity unlocks creativity, resilience, and success in both work and life. A series of life changing personal experiences deepened her conviction, leading to the creation of Curious Agenda—a social enterprise built on the belief that access to the power of curiosity can greatly benefit all people.
We deliver research-backed Curiosity Training for businesses, helping teams think creatively and solve problems with agility. We run vibrant youth and community programmes that empower people across the Hastings & Rother area, and beyond. We've even transformed Hastings into the world's first 'Curious Town' through three years of our ambitious 'A Curious Town' festivals.
Our most recent festival, A Curious Town Plays, was a month-long extravaganza celebrating the theme of 'Play'. We brought together over 200 artists and performers for an explosion of performance, artwork, cabaret, music, workshops, and installations across Hastings and Bexhill. It's curiosity on a grand scale, and curiosity is what we do best.
We believe the best way to learn is hands-on and fun. Whether it's a business workshop, a youth programme, or a town-wide festival, we inspire curious mindsets through practical activities, creative exploration, and joyful experiences. After all, how can you inspire curiosity unless you're doing something curious?
Every project we undertake has a charitable mission at its heart. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest all profits from our business training into community initiatives.

Our mission is to inspire a more curious mindset and transform the personal and professional landscape by creating a space for people to be playful, mindful, see things from new perspectives, explore and get creative.
Our community work in Hastings & Rother aims to transform the lives of those in the area, as well as the community itself, through curiosity.
Through our curiosity-inspiring work we aim to promote mental well-being, empathy, innovation and so much more. Our mission is to help people become happier and more successful, in both life and work.
VISION
Our vision is for everyone to be able to tune into, practise and develop their most curious selves. Hastings & St Leonards will become the flagship Curious Town, with the creativity and curiosity of the town harnessed to its full potential, creating a healthier, more joyful community.
Curious Agenda will work as curiosity curator, educator and consultant for individuals, groups, organisations & brands. By doing this we are helping foster a more curious mindset, leading to happier, more successful and resilient individuals and businesses.
Inspiring empathic curiosity in communities leads more people to work to help others and for the common good, strengthening and improving the community, and the lives within it.
This curiosity wave continues to spread.
